Payment Plans was founded in 1957 for the sole purpose of insuring and providing financing for Manufactured and Modular Homes and have remained family owned and operated over 50 years . It was a market no one understood at the time - people had to insure and finance their Manufactured Homes like their cars. Imagine trying to finance your home for 3 to 5 years with interest rates approaching 20%!

Manufactured and Modular Homes have come a long way since we first financed them in 1957. Today, constructed to standards far exceeding those of most site built homes, Manufactured and Modular Homes represent the most cost effective means of providing high quality housing.

John Eckis, President and CEO of Payment Plans, has over 35 years with the company. He has continued the tradition of excellence and forward thinking that has maintained Payment Plans as a leader in the industry since its inception. He is a past member of the Board of Directors for the New York State Manufactured Housing Association, and the Lender's Division of the Manufactured Housing Institute, the industry's national association.

Although they have developed into housing of the highest quality over many decades, the financing of Manufactured and Modular Homes remains a specialty not many lenders or brokers are equipped to handle. A Manufactured or Modular Home can be delivered to any number of states or local municipalities - all with different Lending Laws and Regulations as well as Building Code requirements. A Manufactured Home might end up in a leased community, or as a single family home on private property. One is a personal property loan, one a Real Estate loan. Some Manufactured Homes qualify for certain conventional mortgage programs, some must be financed under a "Land/Home" program - a unique combination of personal property and Real Property finance.
